About me
My name is Manita Bijl, I am born in a small village just under Amsterdam but moved around a few times within The Netherlands with my parents before moving abroad myself. I studied hotel hospitality management and did a second study, Eventmanagement.
At the age of 21 I got hired as a stewardess and moved to Dubai to fly around the world from there. That’s where my international career started. When I was 26 I moved to London and successfully kickstarted my career as an assistant in the big international corporate world. I moved to Amsterdam in the beginning of 2019 and 2,5 years later, at the end of 2021, I decided to start my own company as freelance executive assistant in order to experience different companies by doing short term projects for them.
Fast forward and lots of beautiful experiences later my goal with the remote services of Got Your Back by Manita is to build long lasting partnerships whilst having the freedom to work from anywhere. In my free time I love to travel, cooking, being on the water/ sailing and moving my body through sports like yoga and pilates.
How I work
I bring my internationally oriented experience within scale-ups, corporate organisations and founder-led businesses. This goes far beyond traditional executive assistance. I do not simply support executives I create structure, bring clarity, improve operational flow and help leaders perform at their best.
I naturally operate between operational, strategic and people focused responsibilities. I value a partnership working alongside an executive, whereby creativity, mutual respect and the drive to built is alive. I work autonomously, whereby trust is plays a big role which I built through clear and honest communication.
- Available from 10 hours a week
- I work on a remote-first basis, providing flexible and seamless support to clients across the globe. Based in the Netherlands, I am available for in-person meetings, workshops and on-site collaboration, and regularly travel internationally whenever the project requires it.
- My rate is € 95,00 per hour excluding of VAT and travel costs
